What is the Let's-Read-and-Find-Out Science series all about?
In the 1960s early-childhood education experts, Roma Gans and Franklyn M. Branley created a series of books that encouraged children to investigate for themselves the basics of science. The series was based on the belief that young children could easily grasp science concepts if they were introduced in a focused way. Each Let's-Read-and-Find-Out Science book presents the reader through a basic science concept and then, step-by-step, takes the reader through that idea, providing a focused narrative study for the young child.
