listserv dedicated to serving teachers and librarians for
children from K through 12. Please follow the instructions on how to

Among the Services
We Provide Are:
- Information about HarperCollins
Children's Books nominated for state awards and other
awards.
- Information on author
appearances in local areas when authors are interested in
tie-in school or library visits.
- The subscription will act as a
supplement to our world wide web site, by providing
biographical information on authors and artists. (Visit
our web site at http://www.harperchildrens.com.)
- Information on new and upcoming
titles.
- We welcome any criticisms on
any of our books, which will be shared with our
editors.
- Author/illustrator Q & A
sessions will be posted ahead of time to take questions
from children, teachers, and librarians.
- We'll be happy to answer
specific questions related to our books, authors and
illustrators. Any questions should be directed to

How to Access the
Archives
There are a number of author bios
and interviews you may be interested in, which were posted to
the listserv some time ago, including interviews with
Patrica MacLachlan, Katherine Paterson, and Pat Cummings,
pieces by David Diaz, bios on Paul Zindel, Barbara Robinson,
and many more. Therefore, we suggest that you browse through
the archives.
Here's how to do so:
Send an email to:
lists@info.harpercollins.com
Leave the subject line blank, and in the body of the
message, type:
index childrenslibrary
This will generate an email to your account with a list
of filenames. Choose the filename you think you want.
Then, send an email to:
lists@info.harpercollins.com
Leave the subject line blank, and in the body of the
message, type:
get childrenslibrary file name
